Cite Source is an interactive reference source designed by the librarians at Trinity College Library.

Cite Source is an initiative supported by a CTW Mellon Grant for Information Literacy, and we hope that it helps younger researchers to both to understand and practice the ethical use of information in a range of formats--including text, images, sound, and data--and across disciplines. Cite Source presents citation formats for The Chicago Manual of Style, The ACS Style Guide, the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers, and Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA).

As an instructional resource, Cite Source participates in an awareness of both the magnitude and proliferation of intellectual property as a concept and a currency -- as an entity both delimited by copyright and other forms of legal protection and enlarged by the creativity with which cultural producers have approached the issue of use.
